The dwarf domestic chicken breed Bantam is an ornamental chicken that is widespread worldwide. In the second half of the 19th century, the animals were initially only introduced into Germany via England in black colors. Many of the 17 colors were bred in Europe .

Despite their small size, Bantams are quite good casuals. These cheeky chickens get very trusting. They are spirited and good fliers; the enclosure of the enclosure must therefore be correspondingly high.
The shape of the animals is determined by flowing, round lines. The feathers are broad and the cock's tail is pronounced. A rose comb with a thorn sits on the head with the eye-catching ear discs .
