The Baqanas ( Kazakh Бақанас , Russian Баканас Bakanas ) is a river in Eastern Kazakhstan .

The Baqanas originates at the confluence of the Älpejis and Tölen rivers on the western flank of the Schyngghystau , a ridge between the Kazakh threshold in the northwest and the city of Ajagös in the southeast. Initially it flows south. He passes the Barschatas settlement on the A20 highway . At the confluence of the Daghandeli from the right, the Baqanas turns to the southeast. The river reaches the Balqasch-Alaköl depression . West of Aqtoghai near the eastern end of the Balqaschsees he finally seeps.
