Aqtoghai ( Kazakh Ақтоғай ; Russian Актогай Aktogai ) is an urban-type settlement in Ajagös Rajon in eastern Kazakhstan .

The place is located 420 km south of the regional capital Öskemen . The settlement is on the Turkestan-Siberian railway line and is an important railway junction in eastern Kazakhstan, because from here the branches lead via Balqasch to Mojynty to the central Kazakh route network and to Dostyk to the Chinese border.
