Barbara Favola
Barbara A. Favola (born June 21, 1955 in New London , Connecticut ) is an American politician ( Democratic Party ). She has been a senator in the Virginia Senate since 2012, representing the 31st District.
Life
Favola attended St. Joseph College and received a Bachelor of Science (BS) there in 1977 . She then studied at New York University and graduated in 1980 with a Master of Public Administration (MPA).
In 2011 she was elected to the Virginia Senate for the 31st district. Before being elected, she served on the Arlington County Board for 14 years .
Favola is married and has one son.
