Barbara Horvath
Barbara Horvath (* 1973 in Oberwart ) is an Austrian actress.
Life
Barbara Horvath grew up bilingual (German, Hungarian) in Unterwart. From 1993 to 1996 she studied at the drama school of the Vienna Volkstheater, and from 1993 to 2000 she received her singing training from Rudolf Olster. From 2007 to 2015 Barbara Horvath was artistic director of the Lower Austria Drama Academy and lecturer at the Melk Drama Academy.
In addition to appearances in film and television and as a spokesperson for Ö1 , Barbara Horvath has worked at the following theaters , among others: Rabenhof Theater , Schauspielhaus Wien , Burgtheater Wien, Ensemble Theater Wien , Theater der Jugend in Wien , Sophiensaele Berlin, Rotterdamse Schouwburg , Wiener Festwochen .
Barbara Horvath has been a member of the ensemble at Theater Basel since 2015 and was a. a. in Angels in America , Oedipus , Locusts and Three Sisters (invited to the Theatertreffen Berlin 2017).
