Barbara Kralj (born January 5, 1994 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian soccer player .

Career

society

Kralj started her career in the youth of the ŽNK Brinje-Interblock in Grosuplje . There she played up to the B-youth and in 2011 switched to ŽNK Slovenj Gradec to start her senior career. Kralj played in her first senior season in 18 games of the SŽNL and scored ten goals. After the 2011/12 season, she turned her back on her club in the summer and moved to the newly promoted ŽNK Radomlje .

National team

Kralj is a national team player for Slovenia . She made her A international debut in the World Cup qualifier, in the 2-0 defeat on November 19, 2011 against the Dutch women's national football team .

Personal

Her twin sister Carmen was also active as a soccer player and played with her for a while in the youth teams of the ŽNK Brinje-Interblock. Carmen ended her active football career in 2011 and has been working as a model, actress and kickboxer ever since. On March 20, 2012, Carmen also won the title Miss Sport Slovenija 2012.
