Barbara Leitl-Staudinger (born June 10, 1974 in Linz , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian lawyer and professor of public law at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz . She heads the Institute for Multimedia Public Law.

Life

Barbara Leitl-Staudinger studied business administration , commercial science and law at the JKU from 1992 to 1999 . From 1999 to 2005 she was a university assistant at the Institute for Administrative Law and Administrative Doctrine . In 2001 she completed her doctorate in law. Three years later, she completed her habilitation and was granted the license to teach public law at the JKU. From 2005 to 2007 she was a university professor at the Institute for Distance Learning in Law, and since 2007 she has been Univ.Prof. at the Institute for Multimedia Public Law and its head. Leitl-Staudinger is a member of the Faculty Assembly of the Faculty of Law and a member of the JKU Senate, Vice President of the Austrian Society for Administrative Sciences, a substitute member of the Federal Communications Senate and, since 2011, a substitute member of the Constitutional Court .

Leitl-Staudinger is the daughter of the former President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce Christoph Leitl .
