Barbara Sponholz
Barbara Sponholz (* 1960 ) is a German geographer and professor of physical geography at the University of Würzburg . She is mainly concerned with geomorphology .
Until 1984 Sponholz studied geography , geology and botany at the University of Würzburg and then did his doctorate. This was followed in 1990 by a research stay at the Center de Géomorphologie du CNRS in Caen, France . In 1997 she completed her habilitation at the University of Würzburg and from 2002 to 2003 she was a substitute professor for physical geography at the University of Passau .
