Barbara devil
Barbara Teufel (born September 18, 1961 in Neuhausen ob Eck ) is a German film director and screenwriter who lives and works in Berlin .
Career
From 1985 to 1989 Barbara Teufel studied rhetoric and empirical cultural studies at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . In 1989 she started her film studies at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb) and from 1992 studied film directing at the renowned Parisian film school La fémis . In 1994 she returned to Berlin from studying abroad and graduated from the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin in 1995.
She has been working as a freelance director and author since 1995. Her films attract attention at international festivals. B. at the Berlin International Film Festival , in Seoul, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Paris, Rome, Turin, Barcelona, Bilbao and in other countries. From 2004 to 2005 she worked as a lecturer at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin and in 2007 accepted a contract as an artistic and academic assistant for fiction film at the Art Academy for Media in Cologne . In 2015 she taught there as a professor for feature film directing.
Barbara Teufel directs the newly elected board of ProQuote .
