The Barduelva ( North Sami : Álddesjohka ) is a river in the province of Troms og Finnmark in northern Norway . It forms the outflow of the Altevatnet reservoir and finally flows into the Målselva river .

Use of hydropower

The river is the largest source of hydroelectric power generation in the former province of Troms . There are three hydroelectric power stations along the Barduelva: Innset , Straumsmo and Bardufoss . Together they generate an annual output of 1,235 GWh.
