The Bardusch Beteiligungen GmbH & Co. KG , based in Ettlingen is the 1871 founded the holding company Bardusch group. The company focuses on the rental of textiles. The headquarters in Ettlingen is the largest company with 614 employees. In Germany and Switzerland the company is one of the market leaders and it is also well represented in France, Spain, Poland and Hungary.

The group of companies has been family-owned for over 140 years. Carl-Fritz Bardusch led the company for more than 30 years. Today his children, Carl-Matthias Bardusch and Christina Ritzer (née Bardusch), are shareholders.

history

At the beginning of the company's history is Karolina Bardusch, who began washing the uniforms for Prussian officers in 1871. Within a short time she also counted private individuals, restaurants and hotels among her customers.

After the Second World War, the Bardusch family concentrated on the care and rental of work clothing . In 1950 the company switched its offer to a full supply of textiles. In 1955 Mercedes-Benz became the first major industrial customer. Since 1958, the company has also been supplying towel dispensers with fabric towel rolls in the reusable system. In 1965, the rental service's product range was expanded to include specially impregnated dirt control mats, cleaning cloths and mops. In 1971, the company added the textile service for hospitals to its range of services.

In the following years the company grew nationally and internationally. Branches and subsidiaries were established throughout Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and Brazil. Carl-Fritz Bardusch was largely responsible for this growth. He was the fourth generation to run the family business from 1970 until his death in August 2011.

Carl-Fritz Bardusch has received several awards for his entrepreneurial and cultural commitment. In 2010, the then Finance Minister of the State of Baden-Württemberg, Willi Stächele , presented him with the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon. " With his extraordinary entrepreneurial and cultural commitment, Mr. Bardusch works worldwide and has nevertheless remained at home in Baden-Württemberg. His performance deserves recognition, " said Willi Stächele on November 25, 2010 at his laudation in Ettlingen.

In 2004 the company started an all-round service for cleanroom clothing. The industrial laundry in Ettlingen was expanded in 2011 with the construction of a special residents' laundry center.

Focus the business purpose is the rental of workwear and protective clothing (care and supply of industry-specific professional and protective clothing, towel and soap dispensers , dust control mats, bed and table linens, personal protective equipment and many other textile products).
Companies like Adam Opel AG , Dr. Oetker GmbH and BASF SE , hospitals and hotels today rent protective and work clothing including service from Bardusch.

The company also masters highly sensitive disciplines, such as laundry supply for clinics and nursing homes, sterile operating room supplies for hospitals and the supply of sterile and decontaminated special clothing for the clean room area. The offer is supplemented by advice, needs analysis, holistic CI design, procurement of textiles and their financing. In addition, the company picks up the clothing that has been worn, washes and cares for it and delivers the complete set to the customer. A barcode system including computer monitoring ensures the complicated logistics of the rental process.

Products that the company also has for sale include personal protective equipment (PPE), hand washing soap, hand care lotions, paper towels, and toilet paper .

The company has already received the QSP Worldwide Supplier of the Year award eight times in the “Services and Accessories” category from General Motors . The award distinguishes the quality, service and price of suppliers to the automotive industry . In a ranking by the University of St. Gallen , the textile service provider took 35th place among 3,500 customer-oriented service providers in Germany. In July 2008, the company was recognized by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics as “Service Provider of the Year”.

In 2010 the company received the DB supplier award from Deutsche Bahn with the associated award “DB Supplier of the Year 2010”.

Environmental protection and sustainability

As the first German service company, the company started an environmental management system in the mid-1990s, introduced it in accordance with EC Regulation 1836/93 and developed it further to EMAS III and ISO 14001 . In 1995 the company received the "Environmental Award for Companies of the State of Baden-Württemberg".

The company uses textiles in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for clothing.
