Bareback Ridge ( English literally for bare back ridge ) is an irregular mountain ridge in the center of the island of Annenkov Island in the archipelago of South Georgia . It extends north from Olstad Peak .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it descriptively in 1977 because of the lack of any vegetation on the ridge and on the flanks of the ridge.
