The Barela Rock is a rocky outcrop in the south of the Przybyszewski Island in the Marshall Archipelago off the Saunders coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after the aircraft mechanic Ruben E. Barela of the US Navy, who joined the crew in 1967 McMurdo station belonged.
