The Przybyszewski Island (or Przybyszewski Island ) is an ice-covered and 19 km long island in the Marshall Archipelago off the Saunders coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It is located 5 km east of the Cronenwett Island in the western part of the Sulzberger Ice Shelf .
The island was mapped in 1962 aboard the icebreaker USS Glacier under Captain Edwin Anderson McDonald (1907–1988), who named it after Lieutenant Vincent A. Przybyszewski (* 1937) of the United States Navy Reserve , who was the helicopter pilot of the USS Glacier on this island had discovered. On some maps it is incorrectly marked as Prezbecheski Island .
