Barefoot Church
Barefoot churches are called monastery churches that belong to a convent of mendicant orders . The members of these mendicant orders, mainly Franciscans , but also Discalced Carmelites , Dominicans, etc., are also referred to as Discalceates (Discalced ones ), from which the bare feet are derived.
