Barneholm is an uninhabited Danish island in the Nakskovfjord , a side bay of the Great Belt on the west coast of the island of Lolland, which has been uninhabited since the early 2000s . The island is 10 hectares and its highest point is two meters above sea level. Barneholm belongs to the parish community ( Danish : Sogn ) Vemmenkov Sogn , which belonged to Harde Lollands Sønder Herred in the then Maribo office until 1970 , then to the Rudbjerg municipality in the then Storstrøms office , which with theLocal government reform on January 1, 2007 in Lolland Municipality in the Sjælland region has been absorbed.
