Baron Brain

Baron Brain , of Eynsham in the County of Oxford , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on January 26, 1962 for the physicist and neurologist Sir Russell Brain, 1st Baronet . This had already been awarded the subordinate title Baronet , of Reading in the County of Berks , on June 29, 1954 .

Today's title holder has been his younger son Michael Brain as 3rd Baron since 2014 .
