Barta Barri

Bernabé Barta Barri (born August 16, 1911 in Budapest , Austria-Hungary , † December 7, 2003 in Madrid , Spain ) was a Hungarian- Spanish actor .

Life

Barri traveled a lot as a dancer and trapeze artist in Europe. On one of the circus tours in the years after World War II , he decided to stay in Spain, where he quickly found work as a character actor in film. From 1949 he appeared in over a hundred film and television productions; often referred to as Barta Barry . In the heyday of the spaghetti westerns he entered, a full beard, also known as New fuzzy in the film Four Hallelujah for Dynamite Joe in appearance. After his last engagement in 1986, he retired from active business.

In 1951 and the following year, Barri, who later received Spanish citizenship, won the Spanish Cinema Association's award.
