action
Wong, a wealthy Chinese banker, dies in a bank robbery in California when Dakota robbed him too, stealing $ 1,000 and four photos of women. The Wongs family in China is in the hands of a warlord who entrusted all of his money to Wong, who should invest it profitably in America. To save the family's life, the young Wang Ho goes to America. A note found tells him that the way to a treasure was tattooed in Chinese letters on the buttocks of four young women who made Wong's life sweeter. Wang Ho frees Dakota from the prison he had been thrown into in the meantime, and with the help of numerous tricks and after some dangerous adventures, he can track down the four women. The card can thus be read. Wang Ho returns to China with Dakota and a wooden statue that makes the warlord ten times richer than before, thus ensuring the family's release and is allowed to marry the young Lia-Kun. Revered as a hero, Dakota decides to stay in China.
criticism
The work received mixed reviews. The lexicon of the international film saw a “bumpy mixture of Western and Eastern elements with vulgar and brutal effects”, which they rated as “transparent and hardly exciting”, whereas Christian Keßler attests to the director that he can accomplish the feat “from which it is actually difficult to get along with each other to connect circles of myths to make a film that can be enjoyed beyond measure. ”The Segnalazioni Cinematografiche saw a mixture of finesse and banality, good technology and empty story.
