Bartholomäus Friedrich von Beichlingen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bartholomäus Friedrich Graf von Beichlingen , at the time mostly Bartholomes Friedrich , († May 20, 1567 ) was the last male representative of the Counts of Beichlingen, canons of Cologne and Halberstadt and manor owners in Creuzburg and Gebesee .

He came from the Harz count family of Beichlingen and was the youngest son of Count Adam von Beichlingen, who at times lived beyond his means and thus initiated the downfall of this noble family. The marriages of his older brothers remained childless, as did his marriage to Seraphie Countess von Oettingen. He was buried in the vault of the Laurentiuskirche in Gebesee.
