Basílio de Moraes
Basílio de Moraes ( Basílio Emídio de Moraes Júnior; born May 11, 1982 in João Pessoa ) is a former Brazilian sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 and at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005 , he was eliminated over 200 m in the preliminary run.
In 2006 he won bronze over 200 m at the Ibero-American Championships. In 2007 he won the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro in the 4 x 100 meter relay . At the World Championships in Osaka he reached the quarter-finals over 200 meters and came fourth with the Brazilian 4 x 100 meter relay.
At the 2009 World Cup in Berlin, he failed over 100 m in the preliminary run and came in seventh with the Brazilian 4 x 100 meter relay.
