The four-storey house was built around 1890. It is made of bricks and is a semi-detached house with separate entrances from both Klosterbergestrasse and Basedowstrasse. The corner position is particularly emphasized with a box bay window . The facades of the house are designed in the neo-renaissance style, with plaster ashlaring on the ground floor.

The house is considered to be part of the surrounding street from the Wilhelminian era that has been preserved in its entirety and is particularly significant in terms of urban development.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 17778 . Presumably by mistake, the house is also listed at Klosterbergestraße 16 with registration number 094 76905.
