Bashy

Bashy (born February 4, 1985 in Chiswick , London ; real name Ashley Thomas ) is an English grime rapper and actor.

biography

In the mid-2000s, Bashy became famous in the London grime scene with his mix tapes. He had his breakthrough in 2008 with the piece Black Boys . That same year followed Kidulthood to Adulthood , the theme song from the film Adulthood by Noel Clarke . It just missed the top 75 on the UK charts.

The following year his debut album Catch Me If You Can followed , with which he reached number 85 on the album charts. With his single These Are the Songs , which was released in September 2013, he reached number 87 in the single charts.

Even before his musical successes, Bashy was active as an actor. From 2010 he worked in films such as Shank , 4.3.2.1 and The Veteran .
