Noel Clarke (born December 6, 1975 in London , England ) is a British actor , director and screenwriter .

Life

Noel Clarke was born in London in 1975. His parents are immigrants from Trinidad. Clarke grew up with his single mother who worked as a nurse in London. His father left the family shortly after Noel Clarke was born. From 2005 to 2010, Noel Clarke starred as Mickey Smith in 15 episodes of Doctor Who . In 2010 he wrote and produced the film 4.3.2.1. , in which he also directed and appeared as an actor. In 2012 Noel Clarke wrote the scripts for the films Storage 24 and Fast Girls , in which he also starred. In 2014 Noel Clarke directed the film The Anomaly , in which he also appeared as a star.

In 2018 he was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.

Clarke lives in London with his wife and children.
