The Basteischlösschen is a building in the inner old town in Dresden on the Terrassenufer . It stands on the site of the Sol Bastion of the fortifications on the banks of the Elbe north of the Theaterplatz near the Italian village and the former location of the Hotel Bellevue (1853 to 1945) .

The Basteischlösschen was built in 1860 with terraces reaching as far as the Elbe and covered open spaces. As early as 1910 it was demolished for the construction of the Uferstraße and rebuilt in 1912 in a modified form according to plans by Karl Hirschmann .

The building was destroyed in the bombing of Dresden in World War II. After the partial reconstruction, the General German Motorsport Association used it as an office until 1980. After that, the Basteischlösschen was renovated and used as a restaurant.
