Batelling (spelling variant: Batteling ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, around 354 inhabitants live there; the result of the last published census from 1993 was 315.
geography
Batelling is located in the Lower River Region in the Kiang West District . The east is about 4.5 kilometers northwest of Wurokang , on the South Bank Road .
Culture and sights
Between Batelling and Kwinella , a historical lake is known as a place of worship under the name Mofadinka and a sacred tree in Batelling is known as the Kabba Tree .
According to a listing by the National Center for Arts & Culture , Batelling was a location of a tattoo .
