Bathurst (Toronto Subway)

Bathurst is an underground subway station in Toronto . It is on the Bloor-Danforth Line of the Toronto Subway , at the intersection of Bloor Street and Bathurst Street . The station has side platforms and is used by an average of 36,460 passengers every day (2015).

There is a possibility to change to a bus line. Also located near the station, a terminal loop of tram . It is the terminus of line 511, which runs along Bathurst Street to Exhibition Place . Every August during the Canadian National Exhibition , numerous special trips operate from here. The station opened on February 26, 1966, along with the Keele - Woodbine section . Tram operations north of Bloor Street ceased on the same day; Since then, the route has only served as access to the main workshop.
