Batuhan Gözgeç

Batuhan Gözgeç (born December 20, 1990 in Uzbekistan as Botirjon Ahmedov ) is a Russian professional boxer . As an amateur, he boxed for Turkey .

Amateur career

Batuhan Gözgeç reached third place in the light welterweight division at the European Olympic qualification tournament in Samsun in April 2016 and thus qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . There he defeated Babou Smaila from Cameroon (3-0) and Joedison Teixeira from Brazil (3-0), before he was eliminated in the quarter-finals against the German Artem Harutiunian (0-3).

Professional career

On February 23, 2017, he won his professional debut in Russia by TKo against Dmitri Lavrinenko.
