The bulbous scorpionfish ( Dracocephalum bullatum ) is a species of scorpionfish ( Dracocephalum ) in the mint family (Lamiaceae).

description

The bellied dragon's head is a perennial , herbaceous plant that reaches heights of between 10 and 25 centimeters. The underside of the leaves is purple.

The flowering period extends from May to July.

distribution

The species occurs in the Chinese province of Yunnan in the limestone mountains on stony alluvions at altitudes of 3000 to 4500 meters.

use

The bellied scorpionfish is rarely used as an ornamental plant for rock gardens.
