Farmhouse Hellerstraße 11 (Radebeul)
The farmhouse at Hellerstraße 11 is in the original district of Alt-Radebeul in the Saxon city of Radebeul . It was expanded in 1866/1867 by the Loessnitz master builder Moritz Ziller .
description
The two-storey, listed former farmhouse stands on a corner piece of land facing Wichernstrasse, set back a little at the gable and facing Albertplatz . The house, which is seven to three window axes, is plastered and has a gable roof on top. In the gable below there is a round arched coupling window. All windows are framed by sandstone walls.
In the eaves side facing Hellerstraße there is a low single-storey extension, sloping towards the street.
history
The farmhouse was built in the first half of the 19th century. In December 1866, the owner Johann Gottlieb Kirstein applied for an extension to be added, which was then carried out by the master builder Moritz Ziller .
In 1927, the architect Max Czopka had plans to clear and rebuild the property directly on Albertplatz, but these failed. Today the former farmhouse is the only remnant of the former rural development in the area.
