The Mindersdorf Bauernkapelle is a German brass band.

history

The Mindersdorf Bauernkapelle was founded in 1965 by Hermann Reichle, who directed the band until 1996. In 1996 Joachim Geng took over his role. From 2001 on, Uli Bach, who had been a member of the band for over 20 years, conducted the orchestra. In 2017, Bach passed the office on to the drummer Michael Steiert, who is now the musical director.

The ensemble has already celebrated many successes in the popular music hit parade of the Südwestfunk (seven times monthly winner, two times 2nd place and twice 1st place in the annual ranking). Freek Mestrini has composed and arranged many wind music titles especially for the Mindersdorf farmers' band.
