Bauernstrasse 21 (Behnsdorf)
The farm is in a location that characterizes the street scene on the east side of Bauernstraße in the center of Behnsdorf. The farm stone Behnsdorf is in front of the courtyard .
Architecture and history
The four-sided courtyard was probably built in its present form in the late 18th century. The plastered two-storey house stands at the southern end of the courtyard, gable facing the street. To the north of this there is a farm building facing the street. A wooden courtyard entrance is located between these two buildings. The courtyard is paved
Renovations were carried out in the second half of the 19th century.
At the corners of the house, the facade is provided with corner blocks. The window openings on the upper floor are accentuated with window bezels. The windows of the house and the front door (as of 2005), with the exception of the one in the western gable end, were from the time of the renovation. In front of the west gable of the house there was at least 2005 an old linden tree, estimated to be several centuries old, but no longer there.
After 2005 the house was renovated.
