The online portal Baufi24.de is a guide and comparison site for real estate financing and mortgage interest . Baufi24.de is run by Baufi24 Baufinanzierung AG, a broker for construction and real estate financing in Germany.

Baufi24.de was launched in 2006 and is based in Hamburg . With 35 branches and hundreds of independent financing partners, the company is represented in more than 260 locations in Germany.

history

Baufi24.de was founded in 2006 by Stephan Scharfenorth in Hamburg as an editorially managed building finance portal. The aim was to provide interested parties with comprehensive, group-independent information about the topics of construction finance and real estate finance. With Michael Lorenz as the second managing director, Baufi24 GmbH (now Baufi24 Baufinanzierung AG) was founded in 2008 through a spin-off .

In 2008, Baufi24 started a sales network for independent mortgage brokers, which meanwhile has more than 1,000 cooperation partners. The sales network supports individual brokers in customer acquisition and in the technical processing of loan brokerage .

The company has been building a nationwide network of branches since 2017. The focus of the business model is on advice on the subject of real estate financing, the transparent comparison of conditions and the brokering of suitable financing . At the beginning of 2020, Baufi24 had 35 branches in Germany.

In 2019 Baufi24.de published a meta search engine for real estate that combines a real estate search with extensive financing data.

Tomas Peeters has been strengthening the management of Baufi24 since March 1, 2020. Prior to that, Peeters was Chief Strategy Officer at ING Germany and then a member of the Management Board of Interhyp AG .

In May 2020 the company changed its legal form to a stock corporation . In the course of this, Baufi24 GmbH was renamed Baufi24 Baufinanzierung AG.

On May 27, 2020, Baufi24 Baufinanzierung AG took over LoanLink GmbH. With the integration of the CRM software provider in the building finance sector, the digitalization of customer service is to be further advanced.

Since the 3rd quarter of 2019, Baufi24.de has been providing an all-in-one service for buying real estate under the name immo-shopping24. Customers are given the opportunity to combine a meta search on online portals and brokers with the application process and the financing of the property.

The core business of Baufi24 Baufinanzierung AG is the comparison and brokering of construction and real estate financing. The consultants from Baufi24 compare the offers of 450 lenders at the moment. This also includes follow -up financing , forward loans and consumer loans.

The advice takes place online, by telephone or in person at the Baufi24 offices. As usual with loan brokers, Baufi24's offer is free for customers.

Another business area of ​​Baufi24 Baufinanzierung AG is the development and sale of CRM software for finance brokers.

Baufi24.de has received several awards. Among other things, the company was the test winner in a customer survey conducted by the daily newspaper Die Welt and received the “Very high customer trust” seal of approval from the industry magazine Wirtschaftswoche .

In 2015 and 2016, the company presented the “Baufi24 Award”, its own architecture competition for students.
