Ibrahima case

Sheikh Ibrahima Fall (more common Ibra Fall , born as ( tyeddo ) Yapsa Khanth Fall , * 1855 in Ndiaby Fall, Cayor , † 1930 in Touba ) was a Senegalese marabout and student of Aamadu Bàmba Mbàkke , the founder of the Muridiyya order in West Africa . Strongly revered in this Sufi brotherhood, Ibrahima Fall founded the influential Baye Fall movement in parallel .

Neil Savishinsky (1994) states that Sheikh Ibrahima Fall was "one of the first and most ardent of Ahmadu Bamba's followers". Ibra Fall established the relationship between the Murid Talibes (Koran students) and their master. According to the Bimestriel Islamique, he was called the finance minister of the Muridentum in French West Africa . Ibrahima Fall directed all of the Brotherhood's affairs, fueling the growth of the Muridiyya movement. With the motto “you reap what you sow”, Ibra Fall established the work ethic Dieuf Dieul among the Murids.

Serigne Bassirou Mbacké, son of Sheikh Aamadu Bàmba Mbàkke, testifies that Ibrahima Fall shaped the brotherhood. According to Mbacké, Ibrahima Fall introduced the custom of giving money to Aamadu Bàmba. Murids follow suit. Serigne Moussa Kâ testifies: "Case introduced that one dedicates one's life to a marabout in search of Aura ( Wolof ) tarbiya ." Sheikh Diop (1980) confirms the importance of Ibra Fall for the murids by saying: " Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba and Sheikh Ibrahima Fall illustrate the symbiosis of the values of the murids, prayer and work.
