Bazu Worku

Bazu Worku Hayla (born September 15, 1990 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

In 2009 he won the Paris half marathon in 1:01:56 h and on his debut over the full distance was second in the Paris marathon in 2:06:15 h.

In 2010 he finished third in the Ottawa Marathon . He achieved the same place at the Berlin Marathon , where he was the youngest runner to date to stay below the 2:06 mark with 2:05:25 h.

In 2014 he won the Lake Biwa marathon in 2:09:10 h.

Bazu Worku is 1.70 meters tall and unmarried.
