The Beakley Glacier is a glacier off the Bakutis coast of Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It flows on the west side of the Duncan Peninsula of Carney Island in a northerly direction to the Amundsen Sea .
The United States Geological Survey used aerial photographs of the United States Navy to determine the position of the glacier during Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after Vice Admiral Wallace Morris Beakley (1903-1975), deputy head of naval operations for ship operations and emergency services for the International Geophysical Year (1957-1958).
