The Duncan Peninsula is an ice-covered peninsula off the Bakutis coast of Marie Byrd Land in western Antarctica . It forms the eastern part of the offshore Carney Island .
The United States Geological Survey mapped the peninsula using aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy in January 1947 during Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them 1967 after Admiral Donald B. Duncan (1896–1975), deputy to Admiral Robert Carney as head of naval operations during the International Geophysical Year (1957–1958).
