Beate Ferchländer

Beate Ferchländer (born May 27, 1961 in Scheibbs ) is an Austrian criminal writer . Her novels are mainly set in the Lower Austrian Weinviertel .

Life

Ferchländer spent childhood and youth in Scheibbs. After graduating from the Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium in Scheibbs , she went to Vienna , where she studied mathematics and English for teaching at the University of Vienna . After graduating, she went to Poysdorf and began to work as a high school teacher in Laa an der Thaya . While working, she completed a degree at the School of Writing of the Hamburg Academy for distance learning in the courses of fiction , children's and youth literature and the novel workshop.

Her novels are published by Emons Verlag .
