Beatrice Chebet (born March 5, 2000 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Beatrice Chebet gained her first international experience at the 2017 Youth World Championships in Nairobi , where she finished fourth in the 3000 meter run in 9: 33.26 minutes . The following year she won the U20 World Championships in Tampere over 5000 meters in 15: 30.77 min. At the 2019 World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus , she won the U20 classification in 20:50 minutes and came second with the team. Then she won the Junior African Championships in Abidjan in 16: 02.66 min.

Beatrice Chebet lives and trains in Londiani, Kericho County . She is trained by Paul Kemei.
