Beaverlodge is a small town in northern Alberta , Canada .
Located on the British Columbia border , the city has several schools including an elementary school, a Catholic school, and a high school, Beaverlodge Regional High School . In addition, a large statue of a beaver , the city's heraldic animal, was unveiled in 2004 and can be seen from the highway. Beaverlodge is the birthplace of ice hockey player Matt Walker.
