The Beckmann Fjord is a small bay on the north coast of South Georgia . It is located immediately east of Bellingshausen Point on the east side of the Bay of Isles .
Robert Cushman Murphy mapped them during his visit to South Georgia (1912–1913) aboard the brig Daisy . He named it after the Norwegian Ludvik Beckmann (1884-1912) from Horten , harpooner on the whaler Don Ernesto , who died in an accident in December 1912 and was buried in South Georgia.
