Becky (singer)

Becky or Becky ♪ ♯ , actually Rebecca Eri Rabone , (ベ ッ キ ー Bekkī) (born March 6, 1984 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese singer, actress and model. At the end of 2009 she started her music career, for which she appended an eighth note and a cross to her name.

Life

Becky is the first child of her English father Simon and her Japanese mother. She has a younger sister, Jessica, who studied dance in the United States . Her mother's family was featured in an episode of Sekai no Hatemade Itte Q! to see. She studied in Tokyo and was named Japan Today's Most Popular TV Personality by Japan Today .

She made her TV debut in the popular children's show Oha-Suta in 1999. She read the English names of Pokémon in a part of the show called Pokémon: The World . So she became a part of the show and was soon featured in many commercials. She also voiced several anime characters. In 2003 she played the role of Ellen Kaga in the television series Stand Up !! .
