Bee Vang

Bee Vang (born November 4, 1991 in Fresno , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Vang is the son of Hmongs who emigrated to the USA from Thailand . He attended Robbinsdale Armstrong High School in Plymouth , Minnesota . In 2008 he received the role of Thao Vang Lor in the film Gran Torino alongside Clint Eastwood his first starring role. After that, however, no acting roles have followed. He founded a workshop on the film Gran Torino and its subjects, with which he traveled through the USA, and studied at Brown University . In recent years he has worked as an “ editorial coordinator” for several films.
