The residential building Beethovenstraße 59 is located in the Am Wasserturm district in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
The house was built in the 1920s. It was entered under No. B 125 on August 7, 1990 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
location
In terms of urban planning, the house is located in the villa development in the Mozartstrasse / Beethovenstrasse area on the edge of the public park at the Bunter Garten .
architecture
The two-storey double residential building with a slated hipped roof is a free-standing building in the surrounding parkland and designed on all sides in the country house style of the 1920s. The building has a very deep front garden with a continuous garden fence in imitation ashlar masonry with a vertical bar fence.
On the street side, the building is flanked by two strong three-quarter-round corner towers with a curved, slated conical roof ; the spiers are currently missing. The hipped roof has a row of two dormer windows facing Beethovenstrasse.
