Behind the Scenes (dt. Behind the scenes ) is a German rock group , created in 1993 by Michael Roeder ( A Spell Inside ) and Fred Büntig (ex The Merry Thoughts ) in Neuss was founded.

history

The band produced their debut album Fragment in 1997 , which was released in 1998 by EuroMedia / Novatekk. Shortly after its release, the album went from 0 to 19 in the German Alternative Charts (DAC).

In 1999 the band played at the Zillo Open Air and at the 3rd Dark Convention in Zurich .

Numerous contributions to samplers , radio broadcasts and, in early 2000, the second album Homeless on Bloodline followed . The single Human immediately made it to number 15 in the DAC and stayed in the top 20 for weeks.

In 2001 the US label Dancing Ferret released the US version of Homeless with additional remixes such as B. from The Crüxshadows . In 2003 guitarist Scholli (ex- Secret Discovery , Syland, Assassin ) came to Behind the Scenes.

In May 2006, the third album, Pure , was released on In-D Records .

In 2007 the band played various concerts. Among others with And One and Garden of Delight as well as at various festivals (e.g. Zillo -Festival). They also played several concerts with The Crüxshadows.

The band's style is a mix of pop , rock , dark rock and electronic elements.
