Bela Bach

Bela Bach (born September 30, 1990 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the German Bundestag .

Life

After graduating from high school in Munich in 2010 , Bach studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich until 2018 . Bach has been a doctoral candidate at the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck since 2017 . She has been a member of the SPD since 2007. From 2009 to 2019, Bach was a member of the executive subdistrict board of the SPD Munich-Land, and from 2015 to 2019 she was chairwoman of the board. Since 2014 she has been a member of the Planegg municipal council and the Munich-Land district council. On February 4, 2020, she replaced Martin Burkert in the Bundestag.

In the German Bundestag, Bach is a full member of the Petitions Committee and the Committee on Transport and Digital Infrastructure. She is a deputy member of the Committee for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.

Bela Bach also works as an interpreter and translator .
