Belco Bah

Belco Bah (* 1958 ; † April 21, 2020 in Mali ) was a Malian politician (UM-RDA). He was a member of the Malian National Assembly from 2014 until his death .

Bah belonged to the Union Malienne du Rassemblement Démocratique Africain (UM-RDA) and was elected to the National Assembly in 2013 in the Niono constituency. In 2014 he took office. He was one of two members of his party in the National Assembly. As a member of parliament, he was a member of the Defense Committee. He ran again in the next elections in 2020 , but was defeated in the first round of elections on March 29 to the candidate of the Alliance Démocratique pour la Paix (ADP-Maliba), Diadié Bah .

Bah was also active in the Assemblée parlementaire de la francophonie and acted there as vice-president in the commission politique .

During the COVID-19 pandemic in Mali, Bah fell ill with a SARS-CoV-2 infection and died of it on April 21, 2020.
