Belgrave Heights is a district in the southeast of the Australian metropolis Melbourne , about 38 km from the city center. In 2016 it had a population of 1,360.

In Belgrave Heights there is the Birdland Reserve , a park with a rich flora and fauna.

history

The area began to be settled in the 1930s. In 1938 a post office was opened.

On Ash Wednesday 1983, many houses in Belgrave Heights were destroyed in a devastating bush fire .
