Belisario Boeto
Belisario Boeto (* 1841 in Sucre , † 1900 in Sucre) was a lawyer and politician in Bolivia .
In 1884 Boeto was involved in the peace negotiations with Chile , in which the legal status of the coastal regions of Tacna and Arica , separated from Bolivia by Chile , was negotiated.
In 1893 and 1899 Boeto was President of the Bolivian Supreme Court.
Today the province of Belisario Boeto in the Chuquisaca department bears his name.
