Belize is a small town in the north of the Angolan enclave Cabinda .

Belize is the seat of a district of the same name ( Município ) in the Angolan province of Cabinda . The district covers 1,600 km² and has around 18,000 inhabitants (2011 estimate). The 2014 population census should henceforth ensure reliable population figures.

In the north and east the district borders on the Republic of the Congo , in the south on the Democratic Republic of the Congo and in the southwest on the district of Buco-Zau .
